Julianne Tronier—Artist Statement

As an accountant, I’ve spent much of my life immersed in structure, precision, and numbers. My journey into fused glass began as a personal challenge to engage a different part of my brain and explore a more intuitive, creative process. What started as curiosity has grown into a deep passion.

Fused glass offers a perfect balance of control and spontaneity. I’m drawn to its vibrant colors, flowing forms, and the way it captures and plays with light reminding me of the natural world I love so much. My work is inspired by organic shapes, landscapes, and the small moments of beauty in nature that often go unnoticed.

Creating art in glass allows me to step outside the logical frameworks of my professional life and embrace experimentation, imperfection, and play. Through each piece, I aim to share a sense of joy, wonder, and connection with color, with nature, and with the creative spark within us all.
