Murrine first appeared in history over 4000 years ago and was popularized by Venetian glasscrafters in the early 16th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glassartguild.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/murinne3-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2076\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.glassartguild.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/murinne3-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.glassartguild.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/murinne3-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.glassartguild.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/murinne3-768x576.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artists stacked glass in Wayne&#8217;s stainless steel pot design, learned about the order in which glass flows through the pot, and then pulled over 100 feet of murrine cane.
