Guild Artist Ruth Ann Garner’s Pigeontoed Platter will be on display at the upcoming Black and White Exhibit at the Eccles Community Art Center in Ogden. Original black and white themed artwork in all media, including paintings, prints, monoprints, drawings, graphics, photographs, pottery, sculptures, textiles, and of course Glass will be on display. The ECAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to a continued effort to stimulate interest, foster awareness and provide education in all visual and performing arts.

Show Dates: The exhibit will be on display February 4 through March 19, 2016.

GAGU artist Wayne Jacobsen recently won the second place award for his platter “Garufa” in the Salt Lake County sponsored National Art Program competition. Congratulating Wayne and other winners are Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams and Valerie Price, Public Art Manager. This is the third year in a row that one of Wayne’s glass art pieces has placed for a cash award. He has done better each year, competing against other professional artists in all medium.
